Invite the Family to Join
At Peregrine Senior Living at Cheektowaga, we value the essence of home, which is rooted in feeling welcomed and connected. We invite residents’ families to join them for a meal free of charge. Dining with us is an opportunity to foster and maintain important family connections—and to enjoy delicious food!
Our Dining Experiences… The Peregrine Way®
In addition to inviting family members to dine with our residents, culinary staff also honor our residents by preparing meals inspired by cherished family recipes. These dishes can help our residents maintain their connections to their sense of self.
Our dining team is also happy to customize meals based on our residents’ personal preferences and dietary needs.
Around the World Dining
Our Around the World Dining program highlights a new cuisine monthly, complemented by cooking demos, films, and music from various cultures. It stimulates memories, offers chances to explore new experiences, and honors our residents’ backgrounds, cultures, and favorite foods.
Family Recipes
We pay tribute to our residents by including their beloved family recipes on our menu, often naming dishes after the residents who inspire them. Connecting culinary experiences with each resident’s history helps foster an environment where everyone can feel comfortable, express their uniqueness, share their stories, and connect with their own memories.

Our Testimonials
We made the difficult decision to move my mother into assisted living two years ago following my dads passing. She has done so well at Peregrine and we couldn’t be happier. She receives great care each and every day. She frequently tells people that if you can’t live at home, then Peregrine is the next best place to live! We are grateful to all of the staff for the love and compassion they extend to her and to our entire family.
Cheektowaga
My friend, Kathy, entered assisted living at Peregrine in October. She was treated like part of a family. From the nurses, to the administration, to the housekeeping, they showed nothing but kindness and caring. She has recently had to be transferred to memory care and the quality of the staff has not changed a bit. It is a relief knowing she is in such loving hands during this challenging time. I would highly recommend Peregrine to those who need this level of care.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.—a leader whose message of equality, compassion, and courage continues to inspire us all.
His dream reminds us that even small acts of kindness can ripple outward and create lasting change.
May we carry his vision forward by leading with empathy, listening with understanding, and building communities grounded in love and unity.
